How do I tell my parents about my Addiction? I need help now!?

Ok So I cut myself. I am 13. I want to stop but don't know how. I also hate cutting but I do it for a reason unknown. I have excluded my life this year because of cutting and I need to keep it quiet. I have a 5 year old and 11 year old sister I don't want to scare them. I also have an 18 year old sister, but she will kill me. Same with my parents. Please help

if you can not talk to your parents try talking to a doctor they will put you on some depression medication
Hi, The best thing you can do is just to sit down and talk to your parents. Until you do, i would love to help you in any way i can. Im 14 years old an i cut as well for an unknown reason
I read once that it's common for self - injurers, or cutters, to be siblings of special needs children, and also common that they are desperate to please their parents but just don't know how. You're in the middle which can provide its own stresses, even if none of your siblings are special needs. You need to tell your parents. If you do, indeed, have some sort of situation at home that no one seems able to control, you may think that your parents are too busy to deal with this addiction. However, as a parent, I can ure you that I would WANT to know if one of my children was having such a tough time dealing with things, and I would be longing to help as well as I could. Whatever you're going through in life is just as important as the needs of your other sisters. really! I would start by looking up articles about self - injuring; see what it's about. Then you can go to your parents and say, "I have a problem. I think I know why. I can't seem to stop, and I need your intervention. There are some solutions, but I don't know the best way to go about doing them. " In a loving family your best support is the people you live with every day, and they know you better than anyone else. Trust them
Tell them, no bad can come from it, they will no be mad at all, and then you can start getting over the problem. If you keep it to yourself then you are more likely to carry on, please let them know, you will feel better for it i promise
